Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 10 oz bowtie pasta
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded Velveeta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil and half the butter over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden brown (4–5 minutes each side). Set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat and add remaining butter and minced garlic; cook until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add cheeses, stirring until melted. Adjust thickness with reserved pasta water as needed.
- Toss cooked pasta in the sauce with the chicken until well coated. Simmer briefly to heat through.
