  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 tube (8-count) crescent roll dough
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs (optional for added crunch)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked chicken, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, melted butter, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  3. Unroll crescent dough into triangles; flatten each triangle slightly.
  4. Spoon the chicken mixture onto the widest part of each triangle and fold to seal into pillow shapes.
  5. Brush with beaten egg; optionally sprinkle panko breadcrumbs for added crunch.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
