  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp blackened seasoning
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for extra heat
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with blackened seasoning and smoked paprika. Sear in olive oil over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic in butter until fragrant. Add chicken broth and simmer briefly.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and whisk in Parmesan until smooth. Season to taste.
  5. Combine linguine with the sauce; add reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
