- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil salted water in a large pot, add pasta, and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp of butter. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook each breast for about 6–7 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and stir until thickened.
- Slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces and return to the skillet along with drained pasta. Toss gently in the creamy sauce until well coated.
- Plate generously, garnishing with extra Italian seasoning or grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
