  • 10 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 ½ tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Sliced carrots and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden brown; set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté sliced carrots for about 3-4 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Lower heat and add butter, honey, soy sauce, and pepper to the skillet; simmer until thickened.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet; stir in cooked rigatoni and reserved pasta water as needed to adjust sauce consistency.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with green onions.
