  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (170°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with aluminum foil and lightly grease it.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt unsalted butter and dark chocolate until smooth. Stir in granulated sugar, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  3. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt; mix until just combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, egg, vanilla extract, brown sugar, spices, and cornstarch until smooth.
  5. Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan, followed by the pumpkin mixture on top. Bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before slicing.
