Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup butter
- ¾ cup cocoa powder
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ⅓ cup white chocolate chips (melted)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan by lining it with foil and spraying it with cooking spray.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in cocoa powder until well combined, then set aside to cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the eggs, sugar, and vegetable oil until light and foamy. Mix in the cooled butter/cocoa mixture along with vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick; it should come out clean. Allow cooling completely before cutting into squares.
- For decoration, pipe melted white chocolate onto each brownie in a spider web pattern using a ziplock bag.
